The 7 Deadly Sins
When repenting, you must be specific and be aware of your sins. How can you know the law if you don’t study the law? Here, we’ve given short descriptions of the sins and commandments to help open the eyes of your understanding. We’ve also gone into more details through videos.

“But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil” (1 Tim 6:9-10). Greed will cause you to compromise your morals and values. Money has driven many celebrities to poison the minds of the younger generation with lust and violence. Greed is the reason many rich people sacrifice their own family members for fame, influence, and fortune (Kanye West confessed to sacrificing his mom). Greedy people don’t care about how they destroy others, they only care about making more money which is a desire that will never be satisfied.

“Pride comes before the fall” (Prov 16:18). Pride is a deceptive snare that convinces its victims that they are more important than others. These people suffer from delusions of grandeur and a superiority complex. Their life is usually extremely unfruitful or bearing every kind of bad fruit. Irrespective of those facts, they believe they are good, chosen, and deserve the best. Their mouth is an open tomb and they cannot rest until they’ve caused someone to stumble. They have multiple personalities and only show their true self to their intended victims. These people live in an alternate reality and have no concept of the truth. They find joy in tormenting others, manipulating others, and luring them into their evil schemes. They believe that God doesn’t see their evil deeds but He will judge them according to their works. What they do in the dark will be brought to light.

People who are driven by lust have completely lost all self-control and are unable to think rationally. They are purely being driven by the spirit of immorality and are unable to maintain monogamous relationships. Their eyes desire the promiscuous women and their sexual appetite can never be satisfied. For those reasons, many men have yielded to living a life of perversion and pedophilia in an attempt to satisfy their sexual desires. Those driven by lust can only think about having a “good time”, but they are setting themselves up for many sorrows. For a promiscuous woman is a deadly trap that can cause a man to lose everything he has achieved or cause his body to be consumed by disease. Worse off are those who choose to bear children with them, for they have to endure raising a child with a contentious woman.

Gluttony is a spirit that causes their victims to remain in an endless cycle of self-destruction. Though gluttonous people may work, they eat away at their money. Gluttony leads to poverty.

A person that is driven by this spirit is one to be avoided at all costs. They cause destruction to everyone and everything around them. Preying on those who are vulnerable brings them happiness. They are the epitome of evil. They are well versed in tactics of manipulation and cause extreme psychological anguish to those they oppress. Bitter people fulfill every evil desire in their heart and will stop at nothing until they gain some satisfaction. “Make no friendship with an angry man, and with a furious man do not go, lest you learn his ways and set a snare for your soul” (Prov 22:24-25). STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

A little sleep, a little slumber – a little folding of the hands to rest and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man” (Prov 6:10-11). A slothful person refuses to work but wants riches. They constantly look for “get-rich-quick’ schemes but remain stuck in a cycle of poverty. Those who refuse to work won’t eat.

Envious people will stop at nothing to erase a person’s legacy from the earth. They are driven by their own delusions to attack the innocent. They spend their mornings plotting evil schemes in order to set a snare against their victims. They spend all night cursing people’s destinies and bloodline. Their hearts are as cold as ice.
The 10 Commandments
We are saved by grace, not by works; therefore keeping the law isn’t what makes us right before God. But knowing the commandments will increase our knowledge and discernment so that we can avoid the snares of the enemy. It’s important to know what we shouldn’t do and WHY we shouldn’t do it.
Every religious doctrine teaches about an afterlife, but only the master of the house can let you in. People are desperately seeking spiritual truths to the point that they are communicating with the dead or performing witchcraft. Buddhist monks are taught a doctrine of suicide which teaches them that in order to reach “enlightenment” they must put themselves through a grueling process that ends in being buried alive. They have believed the lie for so long that they cannot see they are committing suicide. Those who worship false gods suffer from mental confusion and are easily deceived. These people lack discernment and good judgment. They believe these lies because they reject the truth and have filled their minds with all kinds of deception; always learning but never coming to the knowledge of the truth. These people put themselves through unnecessary suffering, thinking they must endure through harsh circumstances, even though they have the power to end their suffering. Worshipping other gods is a path straight to death. Though it may seem as if some prosper for a season, those most important now will be least important then. The first shall be last, and the last first.
The toy industry is idolatry (Deut. 4:16-18 NLT). Satan causes children to idolize their favorite toys by bringing toys to life through movies and cartoons, and introducing them as saviors. Though the storyline of these shows are exciting, the mind of a young child doesn’t understand how unrealistic they are compared to the real world. Satan then gives children unrealistic goals, expectations, and desires based on the lives of their favorite idol, which could lead to fatalities. Subway surfing caused the death of 18 people in NYC in 2023. Eighteen people lost their lives trying to chase fantasies (Spider-Man). Teenagers and young adults are suffering from depression and the suicide rate has increased in all nations because they are extremely dissatisfied with their lives. As these children grow up, they are faced with the reality that their dreams are unrealistic which could be a crushing blow for many young men. For many children, their idol was their best friend and they looked up to them, and even wanted to become like them.
Idolatry also causes rebellion at a young age. Toys don’t require children to adhere to any rules and regulations, follow instructions, or complete a sequential task. This presents a real challenge when children attempt to build relationships with others and even into adulthood. Many people can’t maintain a relationship or friendship because they can’t control people as they used to control their toys. As children, they exercised complete dominion and control over their “friends” (toys), which causes them to struggle getting along with different personalities. We are aslo now seeing a surge of people opting out of intimate partnerships and buying themselves human-sized dolls, or just remaining single altogether. Idolatry has caused the decline of marriages; men refuse to commit to one women because they refuse to live life with any limitations. Divorce is the result of people not being able to make their spouse become the person they want them to be; unrealistic expectations caused by idolatry. Rebellion has caused the surge in the mass incarceration of men; men refuse to submit to authority because they want to be in control of everything, which is all caused by idolatry. What may seem harmless has caused many generation to be bound by sin and lack self-control.
Divorce and remarriage is adultery. Vows are exchanged before God stating “…till death do us part”. Therefore, It’s only when one person passes away are they free from their marital covenant (1 Cor. 7:39 NLT). This means a divorced person sins if they remarry or date any other person until their former spouse has passed away. No, a person shouldn’t remain married to their cheating spouse, but they’re still bound by the marital vow for as long as the person lives; adultery is a sin but divorce is not. Many people are unknowingly committing adultery and though they don’t realize it, they’re still guilty (Lev. 4:13 NLT). Because marriage is a covenant and God values covenants, once it is broken, it causes major disruptions in the lives of the adulterers. Everything these people have worked to achieve in their lives will be destroyed. God’s blessing is not in an adulterous marriage. For this reason many people who remarry end up in a cycle of marriage and divorce, or a cycle of failed relationships altogether. Satan has used celebrities to negatively influence the world to commit adultery. Many celebrity couples divorce and plunge right into another relationship or marriage. This has cause many generations to suffer through many sorrows because of broken covenants.
Abortion is murder and child sacrifice. Women say “I have the right to do what I want”, but not everything is good for you. Women say “My body, my choice!”, but not everything is beneficial. By stirring up women’s emotions, Satan has driven them to kill their own children, which is child sacrifice to the god Molech (Lev. 20:1-5 NLT). They use the needs of the minority, such as rape victims and the health of the mother, to determine what should happen to the majority. The evidence that a person worships a god is based on the kind of sacrifice they present. Those who kill their children worship Molech because he is the god of child sacrifice. If a women doesn’t desire to have children, she should abstain from any kind of sexual activity. But because of idolatry, rebellion, and a lack of self-control, women have chosen to sacrifice their children for the sole purpose of having casual sex. Because they worship sex, they kill their children. They say “it’s a clump of cells!”. This is not a wise saying. Weren’t you once in a womb then born into the world? Didn’t your parents need an ultrasound to see you but then you grew into an adult? This is merely the cycle of life. But many cannot accept this truth and refuse to turn away from evil. The ones who reject the truth will suffer from mental confusion and they will remain in a cycle of misfortunes.
if you insult your father or mother, your light will be snuffed out in total darkness” (Prov 20:20). The family we are born into is God’s will for us. If a child is disobedient to their own parents, they will become a menace to society.
Theft is the reason for human trafficking. What begins as “petty theft” manifests to endangering the lives of innocent people. If a person steals but isn’t arrested for their crime, they are still guilty before God (Lev. 4:13 NLT). The punishment that God will render to them is based on the laws of the land where they reside. Many people who live a life of crime are never able to get ahead in life; no matter how much money they steal, it’s never enough and they always want more. It’s as if money always slips right through their fingers. The punishment for theft in America is based on the amount and the property stolen. Those who commit petty theft must pay a fine, but a person who is charged with a felony must be incarcerated. You hear the term “fast money” for a reason. Though a person may not be arrested for their crime, God renders judgment to this person. Though they steal much, they hold on to little. Though they work all day, they never have enough. There is a spiritual judgment that is rendered to thieves. Since the courts hasn’t yet apprehended the thief, God will cause them to spend as much as they’ve stolen by causing many major unexpected expenses occur in their lives. Then there comes a time when a person is caught for their crimes because God has rendered judgment on the thief and the punishment for their crimes exceed restitution.
“There are 6 things the Lord hates – no, 7 things the Lord detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pour out lies, a person who sows discord in a family” (Prov 6:16-19). Being a false witness can cost someone’s life. In the show “How to Get Away With Murder”, those who win a court case aren’t the innocent, but those who have the best defense team and concocts the best story. Subsequently, the criminal goes free and continues being a violent offender while the innocent is imprisoned. The Lord is the ultimate judge and will avenge the innocent. Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent is detestable to the Lord. Many people in power have bribed their way out of many guilty convictions, but God is the ultimate judge and he will not let the wicked go unpunished.
The definition for covet is “yearn to possess, or have”. King David coveted Bathsheba, who was a married women. Though he knew her husband, that desire drove him to commit adultery and murder his mistress’s husband. If you have a burning desire for someone else’s belongings, Satan will drive you to do just about ANYTHING to get what you desire. Many women have committed murder all because they wanted a man they couldn’t have. If people continue to yield to envy, sin lies at the door.
The Lord is good and gives life. God is only good which is the reason taking His name in vain is grievous. The Lord tells us not to swear by anything in heaven, because it is His throne; nor swear by anything on earth because it is His footstool; neither shall we swear by our own head because we cannot make a hair of ours black or white. The Lord created everything on earth and created us in His image, and He said it was all good. So who are we to take His name in vain?
Keeping the sabbath is not required under the new covenant. What Jesus does tell us is to do good on the sabbath and not to pursue our own desires. The Lord loves those who help the poor and the needy. Keep the sabbath day holy by helping those in need.
